Shipping
This policy applies to Chinese armor and related products purchased from JIA SHOP. Unless the product page, quotation, or Order Confirmation expressly states otherwise, the product price includes one standard international shipment. Import duties, taxes, and customs-clearance charges are not shipping charges and are governed by the Duties and Import Charges Policy.
1 Standard International Shipping
The product price normally includes:
- Standard export packaging;
- Trackable international transportation;
- Shipping insurance appropriate to the product value;
- Delivery to the valid address confirmed in the order; and
- Signature service required for a high-value order.
A high-value order may require an adult signature, the named recipient's signature, identity verification, or collection from a carrier service location.
Standard shipping does not include:
- Expedited transportation requested by the customer;
- A customer-selected carrier;
- Special packaging;
- A special transportation route; or
- Another non-standard shipping service.
If available, such a service will be arranged only after the customer approves and pays the additional charge.
2 Serviceable Addresses and Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide and verify before dispatch:
- The recipient's complete and accurate name;
- An address suitable for international delivery;
- The postal code;
- A valid telephone number; and
- A valid email address.
Standard shipping applies only to addresses normally served by our carriers.
For remote locations, islands, military addresses, restricted destinations, or destinations requiring special logistics, we may confirm before accepting the order whether delivery is possible and whether additional charges or documents are required.
The customer is responsible for address-correction charges, redelivery charges, storage charges, and reshipment costs caused by:
- An incorrect or incomplete address;
- An address change requested after dispatch;
- Repeated delivery failure;
- Failure to contact or respond to the carrier;
- Failure to provide information reasonably required by the carrier; or
- Another customer-caused delivery issue.
3 Processing and Production Times
The estimated processing and dispatch time for a Ready-Made Product is stated on the product page or Order Confirmation.
The production period for a Custom Product begins only after:
- We have received 100% of the order amount;
- The customer has supplied complete information and usable measurements;
- The parties have approved the final specifications in writing; and
- The customer has authorized material procurement or production in writing.
Production and dispatch times are reasonable estimates. Handcrafting, special material procurement, customs inspection, carrier delay, or events outside our reasonable control may affect timing.
If a material delay is expected, we will notify the customer and provide a revised estimate and any applicable remedy.
4 Tracking and Delivery Confirmation
After dispatch, we will provide tracking information through the email address used for the order. The customer must monitor the shipment and respond promptly to reasonable requests from the carrier or customs authority.
The following may serve as proof of delivery:
- A carrier delivery scan;
- A recipient signature record;
- A delivery photograph;
- A carrier-location collection record; or
- Other reasonable proof of delivery supplied by the carrier.
The customer should contact us promptly about any discrepancy so that it can be investigated within the carrier's claim period.
5 Loss and Transit Damage
If a product is lost or damaged in transit before the carrier confirms delivery to the order address, we will assist with carrier and insurance claims.
Based on the investigation and the condition of the product, we may provide one or more appropriate remedies:
- Repair instructions;
- Replacement parts;
- Reimbursement of an approved reasonable local repair;
- Return for repair;
- Replacement;
- Partial refund; or
- Full refund.
If the external packaging appears crushed, torn, wet, or opened, the customer should:
- Ask the carrier to record the condition where reasonably possible;
- Keep all external packaging, internal padding, labels, and shipping documents;
- Take clear photographs or video of the package and product as soon as possible; and
- Contact us within seven calendar days after discovering the issue.
An unboxing video is recommended but is not the only acceptable evidence of a valid claim.
The customer must not discard the product or packaging or return a high-value product without our written authorization, as doing so may affect the carrier or insurance claim.
6 Customs Failure and Refused Delivery
The customer is responsible for storage, return transportation, disposal, reshipment, and other costs caused by:
- Refusal to pay import charges;
- Failure to provide clearance documents;
- Failure to complete customs clearance promptly;
- Refusal of delivery; or
- Another customer-caused customs or delivery failure.
A Custom Product does not become refundable merely because the customer refuses delivery or fails to complete customs clearance.
If an otherwise eligible Ready-Made Product is safely returned and remains suitable for resale, we may process a refund under the Returns and Exchanges Policy after deducting, where permitted by law, actual return transportation, storage, customs, tax, and reduction-in-value costs.
7 Applicable Law and Contact
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable consumer law.
