General Qi Jiguang's Armor

Recreated with reference to the Ming‑Dynasty scroll Scroll of the Anti‑Pirate Campaigns and the portrayal of Qi Jiguang in CCTV productions, this Ming‑style iron lamellar armor is forged and black‑oxide finished. Its scales are laced together with leather thongs, which comes with tie‑on vambraces, beast‑face shoulder ornaments and a phoenix‑wing helmet. Constructed in a split‑style front‑to‑back joined lamellar configuration. The fine lamellar scales are approximately 0.8 mm thick. Overlapping scales offer defensive capability against strikes, laced with double‑strand leather thongs. The iron helmet is forged and fitted with copper‑chased fittings.
